Silk bag 3

This is a 'chirimen' silk bag.  Chirimen is considered the 'empress of silks' in Japan, an exquisitely soft crepe silk with a liquid drape.  The bag is lined with a peach coloured synthetic taffeta and is brand new.  It measures 9.5" (24.1 cm) wide by 6" (15.2 cm) deep and the gusset is 2.5" (64 cm).   It closes with crimson silk cords.  A lovely gift for a friend - or for yourself!
